AFRO-LATINO (MANDINGA-CONGO), AFRO-BRAZILIAN, AFRICAN-AMERICAN, AFRICAN, AFRO-BRITISH, PAN-NEGRO PAGE
The population of AFRO-LATINOS IN THE AMERICAS IS ABOUT 200,000,000 (two hundred million), and that includes Afro-Brazilians. The population of other African-Descendents of the Americas (African-American, Caribbean, non-Spanish) are about
100,000,000 (one hundred million).
However, despite the large numbers of Blacks who speak Spanish and Portugese, TO THIS VERY DAY, THESE ARE AMONG THE MOST OPPRESSED BLACK PEOPLE ON EARTH (AFTER INDIA, WEST PAPUA, AUSTRALIA).
A great light at the end of the tunnel is occurring BECAUSE DESPITE THEIR OPPRESSION, MUCH OF THE AFRICAN CULTURE, SPIRITUALISM (WHICH INCLUDES THE RELIGION CREATED FOR SELF-DEFENSE - VADU/ORISHA - EXISTS IN AFRICAN-LATIN AMERICA).
The term ‘Latin’ or ‘Hispanic,’ is a misnomer for Blacks and American Indians in Latin/Spanish-speaking Americas, BECAUSE BOTH GROUPS ARE BITTERLY OPPRESSED BY THE SPANISH/MESTIZO-WHITE CLASSES.
Hence, over the years, groups like the O.A.A. (Organization of Africans in the Americas see http://www.afrocubaweb.com ) have worked to UNITE AND TO HELP UPLIFT ALL 300,000,000 BLACKS IN THE AMERICAS FROM CANADA TO ARGENTINA.
This includes and included the DROPPING OF THE TERM ‘LATIN’ AND ‘HISPANIC’ BY MOST AFRICAN-DESCENT/BLACK PEOPLE IN THE ‘LATIN’ COLONIZED NATIONS. Today, terms like Afro-Cuban, Afro-Dominican, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-PuertoRiccan is used. The General term ‘Mandinga-Congo’ or African-Descendentes is also used.
About 10,000,000 (ten million) of the Latin population in the US is composed of people of African descent whose origins are in nations like Cuba, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and others. That number includes all people who look or classify as ‘Mulatto,’ because genetically, these groups are NEGRO/AFRICAN DOMINANT TO A GREAT DEGREE.
THE UNITY OF AFRICANS AND AFRICAN-AMERICAS IS OCCURRING DUE TO THE NEED TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF ALL THE PEOPLE.
